Assembly
Cut the shank above the hinge, then install the customer ring to fit well. When cutting the shank on both sides, you should use caution and leave at least 1.5mm of space between the cut and the snap and between the cut and the hinge.
Safety
The Snap Shank is a meticulously crafted expandable ring shank.
Unlocking its unique opening mechanism feature requires a deliberate press of the side button to at least 90% of the way.
The button is strategically positioned between the fingers and the bottom of the ring. This ensures an elegant and secure experience with the snap ring.
Tips
For jewelers seeking optimal care when handling the Snap Shank, it's essential to note that the part of the shank that sits underneath the finger should not be subjected to heat, as it may compromise the strength of the internal spring.
To avoid any unintended consequences, consider separating the components by carefully removing the hinge pin before initiating any repairs on the upper part of the ring.
In the event of accidental heating, rest assured that the spring can be conveniently replaced separately.
Disassembly
The side button is securely fastened by a pin lasered only on the outer side.
To release the side button and the accompanying spring, delicately tap outward on the pin from the inside of the shank, employing a thin tool for precision.
Should the need arise, parts are readily available for replacement, ensuring seamless maintenance.
